The Elastic Ecosystem Solution Architect (ESA) is a high-growth role that will have a sizable, immediate impact on Elastic and the entire ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical management and enablement of selected strategic AWS, Azure, and GCP Partner Network headquartered in the US and will own the technical strategy and execution plan for how those partners will develop their business practices.

The focus of the role is evidence of Elastic’s deep commitment to the partner ecosystem. The Elastic ESA represents our capabilities to the ecosystem, communicates our technical strategy, enables our vision, and brings partners along in the digital transformation journey.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Be the trusted advisor who supports Elastic Strategic Alliance Partners (AWS, Google, Microsoft)
• Stay on top of market trends around cloud and industry standard methodologies, build deep relationships with technical leaders inside and outside the company, and contribute to publications, white papers, blogs, and sales collateral.
• Build a readiness plan and proactively identify learning gaps.
• Communicating with customers, partners, and senior colleagues to expand knowledge of the Elastic on either AWS, Microsoft, and Google.
• Shares ideas, insight, and strategic-technical input with the ecosystem community using knowledge of Elastic solutions and their context in the competitive landscape
• Ensure customer satisfaction

What You Bring Along:

• 8+ years within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or pre-sales experience in Security and infrastructures
• Adept at getting things done in an environment with ambiguity but also lots of opportunities
• A history of successful customer relations where you developed an understanding of what made a difference, and devised architectures that helped meet a goal, tackle a problem or outpace competitors.
• Implementation experience with SaaS platforms using the web technology stack(TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, RESTful APIs), especially cloud-based, high-performance solutions.
• Exceptional program management skills and attention to detail
• Ability to inspire teams to work on not just what’s urgent, but what’s most important
• Ability to think strategically and act tactically
• Onboard, educate and enable our cloud technology partners, and support them in sales cycles.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies
• Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on one or more Cloud Service providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with cloud solutions, virtual platforms, software development experience, and operational management practices and frameworks.
• 3+ years of pre-sales experience
• 3+ years of experience working with multi-national customers in support of technology sales
