    Elastic is seeking a FP&A Manager to join our Corporate and Product Finance team in India. In this role, you will be part of the newly established FP&A shared services function that which will provide financial analysis and decision-making support to the rest of the finance team members and key business stakeholders.

    The ideal candidate would have deep experience in corporate finance, proven strong analytical critical thinking skills, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with excellent accuracy and provide proven advice/data to others while demonstrating strong team-building skills.

And as part of a multinational company, the individual will collaborate with team members in international offices and needs to be open to flexible hours to cover time zone differences.

    What You Will Be Doing:

    • Assist with planning and forecast process, including the timely and accurate development of monthly forecasts, flux analysis and annual budget. Develop deep understanding of systems and forecasting processes to drive efficiency and operational improvement.
    • Build a process framework to work closely with the FP&A teams to improve forecast accuracy.
    • Develop an understanding of application dependencies (NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, Workday), workflows, integrations, and processes and troubleshoot as the need arises.
    • Oversee management of the corporate cost centre and allocations distributed to the business organisations, e.g., fringe benefits, IT/Facilities allocations.
    • Report on budget vs. actuals in partnership with functional and corporate teams on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Assist with month-end and quarter-end reporting results, including management reporting packages and business scorecards.
    • Provide ad-hoc financial modelling and financial analysis support for various financial projects. Active participation in new tool implementation and process re-engineering activities.

    What You Bring Along:

    • 10+ of years of experience in FP&A and/or other Finance Business Partner equivalent role, Preferably in a SaaS company Experience with using software tools such as RPA, Tableau, Workday, Adaptive, NetSuite, etc.
    • Leadership skills: highly motivated self-starter with a work ethic who is willing to work both autonomously in a growing team
    • Public company quarterly close and reporting cadence experience
    • Ability to operate at multiple altitudes, prioritize workload and lead multiple projects and tasks
    • Maintaining relationships and communicating with multiple partners across functions and countries
    • Proven track record to evaluate and tackle sophisticated problems and understand the strategic implications of different business approaches
    • Outstanding communication skills, able to establish strong rapport and partnerships at all levels of the organization
