Description

Position Summary Responsible for designing and developing innovative, learner-centered, and impactful learning experiences that enable the achievement of strategic business objectives. This role requires skill in adult learning, instructional design, learning technology, and multimedia development. Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Needs Analysis
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, field, and function partners to analyze and prioritize current and future learning and development needs of Institutional workforce.
  • Advise organization of performance improvement solutions which may include both training and non-training solutions.
  • Conduct job-task-analyses to meet specific learning and development needs.
  • Instructional Design & Curriculum Development
  • Provide the ADDIE instructional design framework and provide instructional design consultation and coaching for subject matter experts who are engaged in training development activities.
  • Balance between instructional design rigor and quality with the cost, time and resource constraints of the organization.
  • Produce robust and sustainable blended training curriculum.
  • Develop programs that may take the forms of eLearning modules, self-study guides, classroom materials (participant guide, facilitator guide, presentations, etc.) and coaching tools.
  • Fine tune curriculum development process. Establish and enforce standards for brand compliance, style and templates.
  • Bring to the organization new and innovative classroom and development processes and technology to provide a world-class training experience; take the initiative to drive change and constant improvements to the current programs.
  • Performance Improvement Solutions
  • Develop necessary assessment and evaluation tools and processes to monitor performance improvement impact.
  • Project Management
  • Document project scope, charter, deliverables and plans with input from stakeholders and other members of the Education Team.
  • Select and oversee contract curriculum development resources where needed.
  • Review and recommend 3rd-party solution providers where appropriate. -
  • Provide ongoing project management monitoring, communication and problem solving to ensure timely delivery of curriculum and meet budget expectations.
  • Leadership and Teamwork
  • Demonstrate leadership, influence, professional expertise and collaboration with leaders at all levels in order to affect organization change and ensure program effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Global Training Team members, internal stakeholders and customers to prioritize needs, validate content and program designs, and improve solution effectiveness.
  • Support training team initiatives and proactively identify ways to improve team cohesiveness, engagement and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Suite, Articulate eLearning tools, SharePoint, Learning Management Systems or other related talent technology and social collaboration tools

  • Experience with current and emerging instructional design principles and learner-centered design methodologies with a demonstrated application through innovative learning experiences

  • Ability and passion for creating modern, visually appealing content for today’s learners that is aesthetically pleasing and easy to consume including PowerPoint, job aids, digital content, eBooks, eLearning, etc.

  • An entrepreneurial spirit including the ability to make decisions as if the business were one’s own

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as business dictates including evenings and weekends as needed

  • Minimum Education level:

    Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum Years of Experience:

    2-3 years’ experience directly related to instructional design, competency-based program design, innovative classroom design; complex, multi-media rich e-learning experience design; hands-on digital and experience design; and/or instructional technology

  • % Travel Time:

    5% The anticipated base salary range for this position is $59,500 to $89,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
