Director, Global Visual merchandising & Store Design, Kilian Paris & Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle The Director, Global Visual merchandising & Store Design will oversee the conceptualization and ideation of in-store designs and digital technologies (https://e.g., screens in store) to help drive overall brand strategy and storytelling and enhance the in-store experience. ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Conceptualize and re-define visual merchandising design to create a 360-consumer experience. · Design across various consumer touchpoints; https://i.e., ability to design for specialty-multi, open sell. · Identify was to implement new technologies. Applies new and different ways of thinking to generate new ideas/opportunities. · Finger on the pulse, thinks outside of the box and leverages knowledge of competitive landscape and trends. · Work closely with VM and SD to evolve department vision and deliverables. · Partners with other creative departments to ensure omnichannel connectivity. · Builds and initiates long-term partnerships within Creative and other stakeholders in support of overall objectives. · Establish a sustainable communication channel and process of design review with all regional design teams including TR.
Qualifications
Qualifications :
· Bachelor of Industrial Design, Exhibit Design or Interior Design degree plus 10+ years design experience. · Must have awareness of Social/Digital platforms and ability to design merchandising concepts that activate social/digital experience in-store and can also be cascaded across social media platforms. · Prior experience as a designer in a fast-paced, high pressure creative environment. Cosmetic/Fragrance industry experience a plus. · Expertise in specialty-multi is a plus · Position requires outstanding leadership and project management skills. · Position requires strong presentation skills, ability to personally organize, prioritize and manage Junior members and free-lancers. · Ability to manage a successful initiation and execution of numerous projects simultaneously. · Ability to manage complex schedules and timelines across multiple partners and execute with excellence. · Must be a self-starter, flexible and imaginative with an elevated sense of three-dimensional design. · Proficiency utilizing Vectorworks and/or AutoCAD plus current 3D rendering programs to model fixtures and store environments. The role requires high proficiency of 3D rendering skills. Current program used is 3D StudioMax, so knowledge of this program is highly recommended.
