Description
Located in Paris, the role is responsible, in partnership with the Regional Director Luxury Fragrance and Finance teams, for driving consistent reporting and analytics standards across the region. More specifically, the Sales Analyst’s mission focuses on supporting cross-functional and cross-branded projects to accelerate the development of our fragrance brands (Tom Ford Beauty, Jo Malone London, Kilian Paris, Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle) through the provision of operational learnings and KPIs to the regional team & affiliates, strongly centered around distribution and retail analytics. The selected candidate acts as a key team member to provide strategic and tactical support through data analysis, evaluating key performance metrics, and assessing the results in regular reporting along with ad-hoc requests to execute key strategic priorities (https://i.e. key regional leadership meetings). Respectively, the Sales Analyst may expect continuous leadership development with great exposure to the affiliates & regional brand teams by representing a key contact on distribution
in collaboration with the commercial and brand teams. This includes to drive reporting simplification & consistency in our door distribution landscape through enhanced quality of our distribution and retailer key analytics while accelerating insights to action behaviors and projects across the region. Key responsibilities & tasks:
Collect/download & report data from various sources, validating data / checking loads
Organize, standardize and maintain reporting suite and generate regular reports w/ high level performance notes, analyzing trends, identifying gaps, and highlighting risks/opportunities
Provide support in team’s deeper analytical needs; tactical & targeted
Collaborate with Brands teams to provide necessary analytics in preparation for line review, Joint Business Planning Meetings, internal meetings and any other data needs across our portfolio of brands and categories
Stay up-to-date on business trends, economic conditions, customer initiatives, and historical learning, future trends and provide decision support to business unit, marketing and sales teams
Qualifications
University degree
Fluent in English (another european language is a plus)
Prior experience in sales & business analytics preferred (can be internships)
Strong analytical skills, rigor and reliability – understanding of key business management KPIs and metrics
Proven ability to drive analytical projects and derive actionable insights & action proposals
Ability to develop original & insightful ways to deliver business analytics, connecting insights to strategic priorities – experience in building dashboards and ability to serve complex analytics to a wide audience in a credible and relevant manner
Excellent written and presentation skills (strong exposure to senior leadership team) as well as interpersonal skills:
ability to work in a fast-paced & demanding, multi-cultural and agile team environment, with strong exposure to several brands & markets
Advanced proficiency level in the following areas:
Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ability to play a key and influential role working with others, in groups, in cross-functional settings and with diverse stakeholders, founded in a self-starter mindset and solution-oriented way of working
Willingness to lead, test, learn and a great attention to detail (including periods of time pressure in delivery
