How Product Analytics drives customer outcomes
Within Research Products, the role of the Product Analytics team is to turn the multitude of data into insights and AB testing opportunities that can be used to build better digital products. Like us, you thrive in a complex data environment. We like getting our hands into the data, focusing on insights which drive actions and product improvements. We extract data and make sense of it using Adobe Analytics, SQL, Python/R, Tableau and quantitative techniques (such as regression, or statistical testing).
About the role
As a Digital ProductAnalystyou'll be working on the following problemson a daily basisand drive business decisions with your insights:
Define &Monitorthe right metrics. Use your deep knowledge of userbehaviourto define performance metrics with your stakeholders that align with user success and satisfaction. Then make sure tagging and tracking is in place to measure those KPIs.
Create & Maintain Automated Dashboards. Set upTableaudashboards and reports to track performance. Ensure that all key data points and insights are atyourand yourstakeholdersfingertips to enable key decision making.
_Understand User Journeys:_Grounded in deep analysis of our datasets, generate hypotheses and validate them through deep-dive analysis and/or AB testing. Also identify the 'magic moments' for consumers through advanced statistical techniques, to understand what the key signals are for an engaged and satisfied customer.
_Present Findings:_Data & insights are nothing if they are not communicated and actioned. Provideinsights and information clearly and effectively, through presentations, reportingand dashboards to all levels of theorganisation, providing recommendations or business implications basedoff ofyour analysis.
Education.Bachelor-level degree or higher with quantitative focus (Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or more broadly Economics, Sciences with a strong statistical foundation)
Experience.Some experience (1+ years) in a data analytics role, with exposure to web analytics (egGoogle Analytics, Adobe Analytics), A/B testing (egOptimizely, Adobe Target) and turning data into actionable insights.
Technical skills.Proficiency with SQL, scripting (eg.Python, R) and the ability to analyze and combine large data sets in cloud data warehouse services such as Amazon Redshift, Snowflake,DataBricksetc. Experience with Excel (formulas, graphing, pivot tables) and PowerPoint skills.
Communication & Stakeholder management.Strong communicator and fluent in English (speaking and writing). Ability to communicate the findings and recommendations of analyses in a clear and effective manner.
