Overview

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for leading all manufacturing activities to meet organizational goals, regarding safety, quality, output, and cost objectives. Prioritizes customer order schedules and demands based on new product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Plans and administers procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations and at higher levels, controls capital expenditures and labor. Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Receives assignments in the form of goals and objectives and the process by which to meet goals. Directs subordinates on predetermined work assignments which are completed using established guidelines, procedures, and policies. Supervises and track employees and may occasionally perform similar work as their subordinates.  Frequently advises others on complex matters. Ensures that government regulations and company standards are achieved and maintained in production and quality control. Participates in production and order fulfillment strategy planning. Leads a team of direct hourly production employees. Strong written and oral communications, leadership and organizational skills are essential as well as a full understanding of the manufacturing operation and EGX (Enovis Growth Excellence)  

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leads multiple shifts and with various work schedules to support operational needs

  • Manages others to ensure appropriate SOPs, Standard Work and enforces applicable personnel policies and procedures

  • Actively participates in performance management and optimizes labor needs with business and customer requirements

  • Ensures quality assurance and enforces our QMS policies and procedures, supports training requirements and compliance needs

  • Drives business metrics to meet overall organizational objectives as defined KPIs

  • Foster and advocate a culture of continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost

  • Demonstrates a collaborative environment, working cross-functionally with the various departments and team members within the organization

  • Conducts Root Cause Analysis on deviations and detractors and provides corrective actions and preventive measures

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of relevant manufacturing experience with 2 or more years of direct management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • https://B.A. in Engineering, Technology, Science or Business
  • Previous experience in a regulated environment, Aerospace, Medical Technology, Pharmaceutical  
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification
  • PMI/SCRUM certification
