The EHI Database Services team is responsible for providing database services in support of EHI business areas. This team is responsible for ensuring database technologies and services are deployed, managed, and maintained in a manner that creates the highest value for our customers and adheres to best practices as well as compliance requirements. Along with driving consistency and supportability in the environment, our team continually identifies and plans for enhancement and design opportunities that will allow our solutions to meet the needs of our fast paced, growing business. As an Engineer 2 - Data Integration, you will be responsible for developing, modifying, and implementing elements of technology to solve business problems in addition to contributing to design. You will work with a team to test, research and investigate technology and assist with the requirements gathering of the solutions.
An Engineer 2 - Data Integration plays a significant role in the implementation and maintenance of data integration technology which includes but is not limited to monitoring of data integration operations, performance analysis, technology enhancement, and security considerations. You will assist with process improvements and change activities. We desire a self-starter that will maintain established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and implement data integration solutions
- Provide operational support to customer events such as releases, and maintenance as required
- Support significant projects such as upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery exercises
- Create, maintain, and improve various forms of script or code to enable monitoring and automation
- Log, schedule and track all changes using change management system tools
- Respond to trouble states and incidents, applying necessary repairs or restoration of service
- Protecting our customers and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions
