Senior Systems Engineer - Windows

As an Engineer 2, you will be responsible for using your technical knowledge of professional concepts to solve business problems. We are looking for a talented individual that can serve as a subject matter expert in their area of focus and represent their department on complex assignments. You will be responsible for evaluating elements of technology's effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research and investigation and making recommendations for improvements that result in increased quality and effectiveness. You will be required to listen to and evaluate customer needs to determine and provide high-quality solutions that align with customer expectations.

The Operational Engineering team develops collaborative partnerships with leadership and stakeholders to build and implement technology solutions and processes, as well as actively anticipate and solve problems during and after delivery.  We assess, design, document, and implement improvements for technologies and processes that empower EHI employees and provide greater flexibility in their daily work. As a part of the team, you will deliver a wide range of applications and systems that support 97,000 employees' physical and virtual business technology environments around the globe. You will be an integral part of our success, providing innovative and exceptional solutions for productivity, collaboration, and communication in a secure environment.  We support technologies and processes associated with physical and virtual desktops, Active Directory, thin clients, mobility/tablets, Microsoft 365, printers, and productivity tools.

You will work with various engineering, application, and business communities to establish and improve processes and procedures related to the underlying technologies and solutions. You will be responsible for leading events, driving standards, and bringing forward ideas for improvements within enterprise-class systems.

The IT Engineer 2 responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Evaluate elements of technology’s effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research, and investigation; make recommendations for improvements that result in increased quality and effectiveness
• Participate in the development of standards to ensure processes and related attributes are continually in sync with those executed in applicable systems
• Analyze existing technologies or processes for inefficiencies or opportunities to increase effectiveness
• Document current state and design desired future state processes
• Assesses the impact of proposed changes on existing processes by understanding and mitigating the risks and implications of process changes
• Listen to and evaluate customer needs to determine and provide high quality solutions that align with customer expectations
