    Position summary

    Agile Practice Scrum Lead, Data & Analytics (D&A)

    Reports To:

    The Agile Practice Scrum Lead will formally report to the IT Project Management Organization (IT PMO) D&A Portfolio Director, but in day-to-day operations they will report to the IT PMO Global Centre of Excellence local leader.

    We are actively seeking a talented, experienced, Agile Scrum Master to oversee a variety of work in our data and analytics product line teams. This person will work with the Data & Analytics engineering and product teams to guide software delivery from inception to deployment, operation, and monitoring. You will manage relationships with functional stakeholders, vendors, the data and analytics engineering team to help us prioritize our work, and monitor and manages key performance indicators. You will run the agile software development lifecycle.     Responsibilities

    • Lead 2 to 3 cross-functional agile teams, and represent these teams at  Scrum of Scums events.

    • Work closely to the Product Owners to ensures a minimum a two sprints worth of user stories are ready in the team backlog.

    • Manage core and feature-set work for our Data & Analytics product lines, throughout the entire execution cycle, to ensure our success in meeting agreed-upon scope, budget, and timeline.

    • Facilitates interactions and communication between the platform engineering team, the analytics team, our business stakeholders, and vendors.

    • Leads and facilitates scrum ceremonies -  daily stand-up meetings, demo reviews, retrospectives, and sprint planning.

    • Take the lead in managing our Jira boards and reports , e.g. Burndown, Velocity, Cumulative Flow.

    • Help us evolve a lightweight, agile process to ensure we can deliver smoothly and consistently.

    • Builds relationships with stakeholders and team members.

    • Provide leadership, coordination, and cross-functional communication to ensure achievement of objectives and timelines.

    • Responsible for driving and facilitating decision making, removing blockers and impediments.

    • Ability to drive conflict resolution between stakeholders and cross functional teams.

    • Remove impediments and seek leadership support to enable team success when necessary.

    • Communicate proactively with all involved parties to keep the flow of work, identify impediments early, and facilitate solutions.

    • Manage team and program level risks and issues, raising awareness to all stakeholders, and facilitating corrective actions towards resolution.

    • Regularly report work status, progress, and risks to key stakeholders, escalating situation to the ITPMO D&A Portfolio Director to remove any program level blockers.

    • Help to ensure that our work follow ITPMO Practice processes, policies and standards, it is thoroughly tested and meets all compliance requirements.

    • Develop comprehensive program plans that merge our customer requirements with technical platform goals.

    • Provide transparency on the health of initiative through management reporting at regular cadence.

    • Participates in Portfolio and Program operational planning activities, tracking and reviews.

    • Manage and work with 3rd party vendors, and partners to drive cross-business unit dependencies.

    • Ability to take on new task as requested.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • A Bachelor or Master STEM Degree; Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.

    • A minimum of 7+ years of overall Program/Project Management with at least 2+ years proven experience in a Scrum Master role managing multiple high performing multi-function teams required.

    • Demonstrated experience leading successful large, complex, high-value strategic technology work, executing in an Agile and Hybrid environment required.

    • Solid experience working within a technical Product Management function required.

    • Experience using Atlassian application suite (Confluence, JIRA) required.

    • CSM (Certified Scrum Master) required.

    • Knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework, SAFe Certification a plus.

    • Data & Analytics domain delivery experience desired.

    • Experience with Data Visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI or Qlik desired.

    • Expertise in one or more project management Agile methodologies desired.

    • Other Professional qualifications, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified) desired.

    • Experience in Cloud platforms like GCP, AWS etc. desired.

    • Proactive mindset can adapt easily to a changing environment, excellent in time management.

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills, including experience managing statistical and financial data.

    • Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people, and projects simultaneously.

    • Practical and hands-on approach to delivering outcomes.

    • Ability to form and maintaining solid working relationship at all levels of the organization.

    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, globally-distributed environment. Our team is currently spread across India, Singapore, US, and Europe, but coordination with more than 2 time zones is rare.

    • Great communication and cross-team collaboration.
