Job Summary
Resolves IBX expense issues within a diverse scope. Performs specialized analyses independently. Interfaces regularly with FP&A, senior IBX leadership to resolve problems. This role is key for coverage of metros and regions where there is not an established expense management presence.
To support the xScale business model within the APAC region by working closely with the individual IBX site Operations teams as well as other relevant stake holders to deliver to what is contractually required by our investors and what we are contractually obliged to with the customer.
Carry out due diligence on any gaps that are identified as a result of the xScale business model and assisting in prioritizing and closing down of items.
This Role will involve collaborating with global teams, to identify key learnings from the xScale business model and drive solutions forward.
Responsibilities
Problem Solving/Assessment
Determines and applies appropriate methodologies and tools for analyzing a range of standard, functional and/or cross-functional issues
Helps identify process gaps and issues
Determines and utilizes appropriate methodology including Lean Six Sigma where appropriate
Project Management
Supports project plans and resources, helping to ensure resources are in the right place at the right time
Works with stakeholders to gain alignment through implementation and post-implementation stages
Applies appropriate project management skills and best practices including Lean Six Sigma
Helps identify risks and issues
Implementation and Change Management
Assist in updating process and procedural documentation
Completes post deployment analysis
Reporting and Metrics
Status reporting providing periodic project updates, highlighting risks, issues and concerns
Performs ad-hoc reporting
Consistency, Alignment & Prioritization
Participates globally in cross functional discussions to drive issues, challenges and prioritization efforts
Assists in prioritizing issues faced and driving resolution
Business Requirements, Functional Design and Process Design
Obtains, creates and documents business requirements engaging multiple stakeholders
Assist in developing BRD’s where needed
Partners with stakeholders to analyze, define and document business processes within and
across functional areas
Stakeholder Management
Maps out stakeholder lists and establishes stakeholders' needs
Escalates to resolve basic stakeholder issues
Qualifications
Previous experience in Data Centre Operations beneficial
Previous knowledge of systems supporting Data Centre on site teams beneficial
Good spoken and written English
Proven record of successful previous project deployments
Previous record of cost saving projects
Ability to travel if required
Ability to work outside of office hours when required due to rest of team being EMEA based
