Equinix seeks an experienced HR Advisory Director to lead and strengthen our regional HR Business Advisory team across the Asia Pacific. This role entails managing a distributed team of HR advisors, providing strategic guidance on performance management, employee relations, organizational changes, and HR initiatives. You will leverage your leadership expertise in a global matrix environment to mentor the team, collaborate with HR partners and COEs, enhance the overall employee experience and resolve complex people and compliance issues. Responsibilities
Manage a high performing HR Business Advisory Team
Lead and manage the Asia Pacific regional HR Business Advisory team, ensuring exceptional client service in support of business priorities and strategic goals
Provide leadership in aligning team with enterprise/region/ business objectives, setting and executing team strategies and HR functional goals
Guide the team in promptly and effectively resolving issues, adjusting resources based on business and HR priorities, and collaborating closely with HR Business Partners
Build team's capability and cultivate growth mindset
APAC HR Business Advisory Leader
Address and resolve complex employee relations issues and escalated HR matters to establish scalable solutions
Develop proactive stakeholder management and communication strategies to enhance service delivery
Establish best practices and frameworks for services such as performance management and organizational restructuring in collaboration with key stakeholders
Act as the advisory owner and be accountable for ER issues within region, including Tier 2-3; providing guidance and coaching on our most complex employee relations matters
Communicate updates on processes and policies to senior stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment and high customer service standards
Is a member of the Global HR Advisory Leadership community, working closely with EMEA and AMER peers to share best HR practices, improve processes and drive consistency across the 3 regions
Other Responsibilities
Act as an advocate and change catalyst in our own HR transformation journey and activate the new HR operating model
Manage cross-functional HR initiatives and products, from inception to post-implementation reviews, driving process improvements and contributing to enterprise transformations
Conduct analysis and case reviews, leveraging insights to recommend strategies for mitigating negative trends and enhancing HR operations
Contribute to HR policy development and changes for the APAC region in collaboration with Legal, COEs and HR Services
Qualifications
10+ years of HR/Employee Relations experience across the AP region
Proven track record in dynamic leadership with 5 to 8 years of team management experience, including regionally or globally distributed and diverse teams of >5+
Expertise in HR operations, employee relations and stakeholder management in AP locations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide quick insights and solutions in ambiguous situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels
Bachelor's degree preferred; commitment to uphold Equinix values
