In this DoD Skillbridge Interhship Equinix is currently seeking a (Military Transitioning Service Member)

Your Background

To participate in our training program, we are actively seeking applications from different background and experiences. Experience or a passion for providing excellent customer service would be a huge bonus.

A positive outlook, a hunger to learn, and a desire to develop and grow are essential, as is the ability to work well within a team.

• Must meet all eligibility requirements outlined in DOD Instruction 1322.29
• Good time management habits, ability to multi-task, to sustain focus on long tasks
• Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas.
• Attitude of taking initiative, enthusiasm, eagerness to learn, teamwork, creativity
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• The ability to prioritize effectively, balance assigned work and exceptional organization skills required for our constantly evolving environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based work assignments

Global Sales Engineering

• Report into Sales Engineering Management in support of technical aspects of colocation sales
• Assist in building materials to market Equinix products and services to enhance our value
• Lead tours, presentations as requested on products and services
• Assist in administrative technical tasks
• Assist in creation of documentation for RFPs, Internal Reference or customer request

Qualifications

• Entry level position in market leader for global vendor neutral colocation

• Applicant should have aptitude in both basic process adherence as well at non-linear problem solving

• Educational background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering is preferred

• Above average verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft office suite of products.
