Function and Team:

• The Global Mobility (GM) function supports Equinix's globally mobile population, incorporating International Assignments, Transfers, New Hires, Short Term Business Visitors, Domestic Transfers, Commuters and is the gatekeeper for Cross Border Compliance. We are a virtual team spread across the three regions: APAC, EMEA, AMER. We provide consultancy support to Equinix Human Resources Business Partners and Business Leaders and manage the full end to end process to enable mobility within Equinix.

Assignments and Responsibilities:

•  Assist with tasks in regards to the Global Mobility cross border country compliance

• Support with compliance and risk assessments

• Support with cost estimate preparations

• Maintain and update Global Mobility related HRS records

• Assist with Global Mobility content creation for channels for Human Resources and Business Leaders

Who You Are (Requirements and Qualifications):

• Ability to always maintain confidentiality

• Demonstrate a deep sense of empathy and listening skills for the needs of diverse groups of people

• Exposure to diverse cultures is a plus

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your bachelor’s or master’s degree studies (Graduation between December 2023-September 2024) 

• Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (between May to September, depending on your school system)  

• Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English 

• Ability to create accurate and punctual reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others 

• Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and aptitude to learn new software
