Job Summary
The primary focus of the role is the cross-functional support of Equinix's Supply Chain ESG- environmental sustainability efforts across its operations. We are focused on driving equitable decarbonization to manage climate risk and transform supplier resource use, while globalizing our Procurement approach to more efficiently meet the current and future needs of our investors and customers.
Responsibilities
Responsible for day-to-day program and project management of key sustainability workstreams across areas such as Scope 3 GHG accounting, SBT Supplier Engagement, supply chain climate risk, embodied carbon and water, and supplier biodiversity
Responsible for the strategy and execution of our Supplier Engagement program. Uses a variety of skills and techniques to create incentives, tools and influence multiple stakeholders to meet targets.
Support of environmental sustainability reporting, including tracking and quantitative analysis of key metrics and developing dashboards.
Expectation to grow into an expert on materials, product, supplier, and technology-related sustainability expert in a construction/data center context, including deep expertise in technical sustainability concepts relevant to Equinix’s industry.
Support greenhouse gas reporting and industry best practices around carbon accounting and meeting climate change targets.
Develop subject-matter expertise on supply chain ESG issues (environment, climate change resilience) and environmental sustainability priorities (energy, carbon, renewable energy, water, waste etc.) and concepts such as circularity,
Manage complex workstreams with cross-functional stakeholders, including gathering and synthesizing KPIs, supporting the Annual Sustainability Report cycle and developing content for sales, marketing, etc.
Establish and manage relationships with internal stakeholders including supporting the Procurement, Sustainability Program Office, Global Design, Global Operations, and Suppliers.
Qualifications
3-5+ years related experience preferred (Desired technical experience in materials, sustainability, data centers, procurement, supply chain or CSR/ESG)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or equivalent required
Master’s or MBA preferred
Strong attention to detail and the ability to translate complex sustainability topics to a broad range of audiences
Working knowledge of sustainability programs specific to energy, environment and emissions (e.g. CDP, GRI, The Greenhouse Gas Protocol, etc.) required; advanced knowledge of Scope 3, LCA/EPD and embodied carbon and water desired.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams with competing and sometimes urgent deadlines and experience influencing upwards to keep programs and projects moving
Communicate clearly and effectively: verbally, in writing and through presentations; successfully interfacing with internal and external constituents
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
• Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $108,000 to $178,000
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
