The Sales Compensation Senior Analyst implements and maintains sales compensation programs and systems globally.
Responsibilities
Sales Compensation Administration
Partner with GTM team to lead the comp plan design and implementation as well as handle day to-day operations
Oversee the audit of compensation calculations and analysis. Advise sales management on best practices and emerging trends in sales compensation
Suggest innovative methods to streamline and automate the payout calculation process, ensuring alignment with plan document requirements and compliance standards
Validates monthly/quarterly sales compensation payments and exception handling
Reporting/Analytics
Generates regular operational reports to drive business insights regarding program effectiveness
Performs ad hoc modeling and analyses to address complex, open ended issues/questions
Sales Ops Support
Supports sales organization in all compensation related matters
Investigates issue escalations and provides response to sales teams on inquiries as requested, ensuring issue and error resolution
Program Support / Implementation
Partners with team members and other internal departments (HR, finance, IT, etc.) to ensure data integrity and consistency
Identifies ways to streamline/automate existing and new processes
Participates in the communication and roll-out of sales incentive programs
Makes recommendations to improve sales compensation and associated programs (e.g., contests, special incentives)
Qualifications
5+ years development experience preferred in ICM tools (Anaplan, Xactly Incent or relevant experience)
Bachelor's Degree required
Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and project management skills
Strong knowledge of sales incentive compensation concepts and hands on implementation experience
