The Compliance Senior Analyst (Specialist level) begins an active responsibility in resolving compliance issues across our sites in Sydney, Canberra and Unanderra. You will assist in implementing compliance and local legislative requirements at site level as well as ensuring Equinix management systems remain compliant to the requirements globally. In this newly created role the ideal candidates will drive continual improvement and work autonomously in most duties - receiving little instruction on work and general instruction on new assignments
Responsibilities
Audits & Certifications
Plans specialised site level compliance audits (internal and external)
Leads diverse site level compliance certification projects and identifies processes to be audited based on specific knowledge of criteria and controls
Develops industry knowledge of standards
Conducts/leads compliance audits, builds niche reports and communicates findings and risks to management
Participates in external audits to provide subject matter expertise support
Ensures any non-compliance findings are closed in a timely manner
Management Systems
Is involved in specialized changes and updates any local site level management system assets by raising a document change request
Provides specialized compliance input for site level management review meetings
Develops specialised local compliance procedures to align with local legislative and Equinix requirements
Training
Monitors and supervises any QISBC/EHS compliance related training as required by the business, ensuring in scope site personnel complete training within target dates
Develops specialized local training materials/toolbox talks
Manages and tracks relevant, diverse compliance training
Provides specialised level training and inductions for new compliance personnel within a diverse scope
Monitoring & Managing Site Operations
Will be required to travel from site to site on occasion to monitor and liaise with the site teams
Provides oversight and support for relationship with physical security vendor
Provides oversight and support for relationship with electronic security vendor
May be required to assist with training & ongoing monitoring of vendors
Assists with ensuring monthly work orders or preventative maintenance required in the physical / electronic security space are completed accordingly to global standards
Integrates new sites or site expansions to Equinix standards within a diverse scope
Involved in the specialised managing of all Data Center business continuity exercise programs

Qualifications / Requirements
5+ years of experience in relevant field of compliance or security
Experience within Data Centers highly preferred
Information Security, QISBC or EHS certification preferred
Willingness to work and commute across Sydney, Wollongong or Canberra metro areas
Must have own vehicle with full drivers license
Ability to attain and maintain NV1 security clearance
