Develops new software. Develops and directs software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Analysis
Reviews, analyzes and gives feedback on requirements/functional designs
Software/Application Architecture
Assists with the documentation and maintenance of architectures
Software Design
Develops designs for small enhancements
Assists with the design for larger enhancements and projects
Application QA
Develops unit tests, develops test strategies, executes test cases, logs issues, manages issues and recommends testing frameworks
Reporting
Responsible for status reporting
Technical Project Management
Key Responsibilities
Develop platform for Automation unit and integration test.
Develop automated tests and scripts.
Develop Continues Integration pipeline via Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Take ownership of deriving test plans and executing them.
Test optimization and prioritization to ensure successful deliveries.
Record test results, and defect reports and complete all test activities.
Help the team to focus on key quality attributes throughout the development lifecycle.
Identify quality/usability-related bottlenecks and work with the team to resolve them
Sound understanding of test automation methodologies and ability to implement and guide a test automation effort.
Hands-on skills in multiple testing tools and technologies including test scripting, test execution, and test results analysis.
Complete understanding of the delivery model and guide engineers to complete day-to-day activities.
Ability to analyze and review the code to understand the implementation aspects of integrations.
Ability to analyze the quality engineering challenges and provide the best solution within the expected timelines.
Review scripts and other artifacts to ensure adherence to best practices and defined guidelines.
Research and develop continuous process improvements for better productivity and quality engineering efficiency.
Ability to learn new tools within a short time frame.
Collaborate effectively to solve problems and make improvements to deliver end-to-end quality.
Passionate about ensuring the highest level of quality.
Ability to prioritize tasks based on requirements.
Plan and conduct technical training and development for quality engineering team members.
Qualifications:
3+ years experience
Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
