    Senior Manager, Solution Marketing

    Responsibilities

    • Drive and execute persona and voice-of-customer research across Equinix products and solutions to uncover the most effective ways of reaching our target audience while removing friction from their buyer journey

    • Establish and execute a strategy for scoping research, visual storytelling, and utilization of findings to ensure alignment and action across internal partners

    • Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, RevOps and Sales on optimizing opportunities with independent query of internal data and information to support investigations and research/insights

    • Execute mixed research methods, including quantitative and qualitative research, online surveys, field study, social listening, customer journey mapping, personas, benchmarking, in-depth user interviews, as well as stakeholder interviews

    • Collect, analyze, and synthesize persona information and buyer journey maps that will serve as critical inputs to marketing and sales strategy across regions and functional teams

    • Develop market intelligence artifacts (Ideal Customer Profiles, personas, competitive landscape). Create useful buyer enablement content to help our sales and channel ecosystem remove friction from the buying process

    • Monitor the impact of insights generated and take part in the always-growing buyer enablement practice

    • Support analyst relations with key insights from our customers’ use of Equinix’s solutions

    Qualifications 

    • BS degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Statistics, Math, or related field and 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred

    • 5+ years experience in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, survey design, execution, and data analysis 

    • Experience with data visualization tools and building dashboards independently (e.g. Tableau) to support analyses and internal stakeholder needs 

    • Problem solving skills with experience providing practical business insights from large, complex data sets 

    • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment 

    • Excellent written and verbal communications including content creation through various mediums 

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    • A team player with ability to cultivate strong working relationships. You're able to effectively communicate and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, customer success, product, and other departments

    • Entrepreneurial self-starter able to connect the insights of research work to practical implications and outcomes

    • Growth mindset and intellectual curiosity. You have willingness to learn, flex into new areas, and continuously improve 

    • Ability to be agile, decisive, and flexible, and operate in a fast-paced and collaborative environment while following process

    The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

    • San Francisco, CA / Bay Area:  $155,000 to $276,000

    • California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state:  $148,000 to $264,000 

    • Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island:  $134,000 to $240,000

    Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

    This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

    The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
