Job Summary

Stellar opportunity to think big and get involved in standing up Anaplan COE for Equinix. We are looking for Senior Anaplan Solution Architect to solve complex business challenges across Sales, HR, and Data Center Build & Operate functions. You will partner with Business Groups and IT teams to deliver Anaplan Solution designs. In 2016, Equinix implemented Anaplan for our Sales function. Since the original implementation, we have expanded Anaplan usage across HR, Finance, and Global Design and Construction functions, making Anaplan a strategic Enterprise platform for Equinix. As we continue to expand adoption, we are seeking to establish an Enterprise Anaplan COE on the platform to drive a consistent platform strategy, governance, and approach across all functions.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver E2E Anaplan platform-wide solutions in partnership with Business Users, Functional Leads and Anaplan Developers

• Articulate with Leadership and Business Users capabilities of Anaplan platform, and fit analysis for relevant Use Cases

• Build connected solutions, incorporate new UX features, and enhance existing models into high-performing multi-dimensional models

• Develop Reference Architecture, standards, and best practices for Anaplan Platform

• Represent as architectural SME on Enterprise Architecture Review Board, and secure approvals for Anaplan solutions

• Lead strategic vision for Anaplan Platform through developing roadmaps, process engineering, solution blueprint, design patterns, and model documentation.

• Create large scale, high-impact technology solutions by collaborating with other architects/leads to develop the target state that is robust, flexible, scalable, secure, and that support enterprise strategic initiatives

• Champion for driving value out of Anaplan Platform investment, responsible for coordinating platform upgrades, and leveraging new platform capabilities like AI, Mobile, Productivity, and new UX

• Build, Manage and Operate Anaplan COE practice including visioning, governance, platform optimization and management

• Operate in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for driving multiple transformation opportunities in parallel

• Focus on enabling capabilities for the right business outcomes, reduce complexity, increase organizational agility, and drive competitive advantage for Equinix

• Use a data driven approach to solve complex and business critical problems, bridging the gap between business problems and technology solutions

• Design data integrations with Oracle Cloud, Coupa, Workday, Power BI, and ServiceNow platforms

• Provide technical guidance, direction, and problem solving to engineering team and model builders

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical experience with Anaplan Architecture, Model Building and Solutioning

• 10+ years of strong track record in architecting large scale enterprise applications, driving business value, and demonstrated leadership in Business Technology

• Strong understanding of concepts around security, integration middleware, software architecture, building reusable APIs, and data integrity

• Expert in Agile development practices: Scrum, DevOps, Design Thinking, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Iterative Development

• Hand’s-on and Deep knowledge on Anaplan current architecture, features, and future roadmap

• Experience with multiple End to End Anaplan Implementations in Sales, HR, and Finance domains, with Subject matter expertise in Financial modelling, HR modelling (strategic workforce planning), Sales performance management and sales operations (quota setting, sales crediting, incentive calculation, territory design and management, etc.)

• Anaplan Certified Solution Architect or Master Ana-planner certification preferred

• Master’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering preferred
