Job Summary
The Manager, Solutions Architect executes the strategy of the Global Solutions Architects team with oversight over a certain country.
Responsibilities
Provides leadership and direction to a team of individual contributors, including any supervisors in the region, for defining and executing on strategic Sales plans and efforts
Aligns with local/metro sales leadership's vision, strategy and objectives
Assists in shaping and developing the metro/local team's strategy
Coaches team on on-going skills development and selling, or technical sales support behaviors
Creates spirit of collaboration, engagement, and sharing of best practices
Leads team through changes
Ensures team adoption of relevant tools available for more efficient business management
Develops the leadership skills of the supervisors within their regions
Sales Leadership & Acumen
Assists in building the business objectives and technical sales expertise levels for the local team
Interacts with customers at the C-level/SVP level and makes a difference in strategic deals
Responsible for the metro team's support structure design and proposal of technical solutions
Conducts internal Quarterly Business Reviews, measuring performance against pre-established business metrics
Leads team through changes
Owns and manages all escalations to senior leadership for critical matters
Assists in efforts to shape and impact deals for the metro/local team
Understands the structure of a deal, i.e. MRR vs NRR/EIS offsets, and how they can be leveraged in the sales opportunity
Able to accurately convey business concepts to the team
Provides leadership in managing a metro/local team in their technical sales support pursuits
Assists in providing leadership and direction for the team to ensure overall success
Optimizes resources within team
Responsible for all hiring decisions and activities, compensation, quarterly conversations, performance counseling, onboarding, coaching and career development
Assists in driving accountability for the performance and results of direct reports and supervisors
Supports and shapes individual career development
Assists in shaping and promoting positive team dynamics
Executes the strategy to build and maintain analytical data and dashboards to properly manage the regional/multi-regional sales engineering teams
Assists in shaping MRR and EIS/NRR revenue forecasts
Utilizes and aids in the definition of analytic tools and reports to properly manage resources
Utilizes and aids in the definition of analytical data to provide Senior Management with feedback on team performance and potential challenges across the business
Develops and continues to grow relationships with internal teams (CSM/CPM, OM, Ops, etc.) to ensure proper deal flow
Drives positive environment for their local/metro team
Develops and continues to grow communication and presentation skills for the regional or multi-regional teams
Qualifications
7+ years customer facing experience in related industry preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or IT preferred
Advanced English
