Due to ongoing growth, we have a vacancy for an Assistant Production Planner to join our Projects Team. The role is open either location, either Wetherill Park and or Artarmon. The choice is yours!

The primary objective of the Assistant Production Planner is to effectively control the component supply for, and timely completion of equipment orders, ensuring on-time deliveries are met. The position will report to the Planning Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, with an ability to think outside the box. The ideal candidate will also have strong analytical and problem solving skills.

The key responsibilities of this role will include: (but not limited to)

• Entering new configured pump & cyclone orders into output datasheets.
• Processing of stock transfer requests.
• Expedite purchase orders for major job-specific purchased components in accordance to equipment order contract specifications.
• Actively communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with project, purchasing and production personnel.
• Ensure efficient management of inwards and outwards goods and associated SAP transactions are completed.
• Maintain and track accurate data reporting for output and assembly forecasting as well as on-time delivery tracking.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications such as a Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics will be highly regarded, but non-essential.
• Have at least 2+ years of demonstrated experience in a similar role.
• Exposure to mining, heavy industry, manufacturing or production environments will be highly advantageous.
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organised and punctual.
• A positive attitude be self-motivated and passionate.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail
• A strong understanding of SAP and Power BI will be highly advantageous.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suites, particularly with Excel.
