Industrial Maintenance Technician

Bucyrus Blades, Inc, a Weir Group- ESCO Division company, manufactures steel blades for the construction and infrastructure industries.

Candidates must have at least one year of experience maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintain production equipment

• Recover/repair breakdowns

• Preventive Maintenance

• Install/modify equipment

Experience/Knowledge in the following:

• Hydraulics systems

• Pneumatics systems

• Electrical power wiring including troubleshooting and conduit runs

• Electrical meter usage

• Pipe fitting for pneumatics, hydraulics, and coolants

• Machine Shop Tools (lathe, mill, saw, etc.)

• Weld and fabrication

• OSHA Lockout/Tagout

• NFPA

• NEC

• Hazardous Waste Handling

• OBS (Observation Based Safety)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Must possess high safety awareness

• Good problem solving and communication skills

• Basic computer skills

Physical Working Conditions:

• Working Environment: Extreme heat, dust, debris, hearing protection required due to noise level

• Physical Demands: standing, lifting, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling

• Travel Requirements: none
