    Position summary

    cussions and reviews of new functionality, perform ad-hoc and holistic testing, find relevant and interesting data sets, and build viable knowledge graph examples.

    Your participation in the development and testing process and discussions with team members will let you document new functionality using our content management system. This will involve writing new content and updating existing help topics. You will also help maintain and certify existing help topics. You will identify topics that can benefit from textual or graphic examples, and collaborate with team members to build those examples.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with software engineers in the ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise teams to envision, design, build, test, release, and support the ArcGIS Knowledge product

    • Design and write conceptual and workflow documentation for knowledge graphs in ArcGIS

    • Use the content management system to write new help topics and update existing help topics for ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, Knowledge Studio, the developer APIs, and the ArcGIS Pro SDK

    • Work with users and industry experts to identify user requirements and customer workflows

    • Play a major part in the development process by helping to determine product quality and release readiness

    • Grow your skillset in an environment that rewards professional development

    Requirements

    • 2+ years of experience with the ArcGIS platform or related GIS products

    • Experience writing technical documentation for commercial software products

    • Experience communicating complex technical information to diverse audiences in varied written and verbal formats

    • Ability to learn and build software products

    • Ability to analyze problems and describe solutions

    • Ability to manage priorities and tasks as needed in a fast-paced work environment

    • Superior initiative and ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently

    • Bachelor's in Geography, GIS, Data Science, or related field

    Recommended Qualifications

    • Experience with content management systems

    • Experience using Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#

    • Foreign language, or experience writing for a global audience

    • Experience writing for accessibility

    • Experience with graph or relational databases

    • Experience with graph, network, and link analysis workflows

    • Master's in Geography, GIS, Data Science, or related field

    $74,984 - $128,544 USD
