An entry-level position operating/supervising the Transmission System for the System Operations Supervisor classification. Provides the incumbent with the experience and training necessary to meet the requirements to advance to the level of System Operations Supervisor. Become knowledgeable of the generation, transmission, and sub-transmission system components, nomenclature, and general operating procedures as well as the switching and tagging procedures outlined in the appropriate Participant directives. Has limited accountability and authority commensurate with the abilities and experience as defined in the position description entitled System Operations Supervisor. Any duties performed must be done under the guidance of the System Operations Supervisor. This is a union position under IBEW Local 457.
Requirements
Successful completion of the Psychological Services of Pittsburgh Assessments is a requirement to be selected for this position.
