    Description

    The Commercial Management team, part of the Commercial Team, provides commercial management services to the UK B2B business to help reach its financial targets with an acceptable level of commercial and contractual risk.

    Reporting to the Lead Senior Commercial Manager.

    What you will do:

    • Draft, review, and negotiate client contracts, schedules, and variations to meet business and legal requirements.

    • Collaborate with Sales to understand client needs and ensure these are reflected in contracts.

    • Provide expert guidance on commercial and contractual matters to internal teams including Sales, Product, and Delivery.

    • Manage NDAs and Data Processing Agreements, including drafting, reviewing, and coordinating with Legal for escalations.

    • Support interim commercial cover, including drafting Letters of Intent and reviewing work-at-risk requests.

    • Promote compliance with commercial processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.

    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of contract templates and provide training on contracting practices.

    Qualifications

    What you'll bring:

    • 4+ years experience in Commercial/contract management role of

    • Legal degree qualification, or solid experience in commercial environment.

    • Drafting and managing contract obligations about software licensing, software development and the provision of data.

    • Knowledge of software delivery and managed IT services

    • Solid understanding of commercial contract terms; ability to understand complex contracts, ability to explain and negotiate specific and complex terms, ability to draft terms accordingly.
