Advise on a broad range of legal matters across financial wellness, credit education, and identity protection products
Assess and interpret existing and emerging laws and regulations, including financial services, consumer protection, and data privacy
Conduct legal risk assessments and regulatory reviews for new products, features, and marketing initiatives
Support development and launch of innovative consumer products such as Experian Boost, Smart Money Digital Checking, Experian Go, and Insurance Services
Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements, including strategic alliances, FinTech partnerships, and financial services contracts
Serve as a subject matter expert on the evolving legal and regulatory landscape impacting digital consumer financial services
Partner closely with business leaders, general managers, and cross-functional teams to provide proactive, solution-oriented legal guidance
Contribute to a high-impact team focused on delivering financial empowerment and innovation
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant legal experience in a large law firm and/or in-house setting
Experience with financial services and FinTech regulations and/or transactions
The highest standards and diligence in handling legal matters
Experience in handling matters for highly regulated industries
Experience developing practical strategies for complex business issues
JD degree and license to practice law in relevant jurisdictions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education. You will be also eligible for a variable pay opportunity.
