Description
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to provide the region with support across management and general accounting, financial analysis, reporting, forecasting and the conversion of data into management information.
Your main responsibilities will include active involvement in month-end process, producing financial forecasts, regular and ad hoc management reports and a varied range of financial data analysis. You will report to the Finance Manager.
What you'll do:
Independently deliver month/year end close activities ensuring financial data is accurate and following Experian's accounting policies and IFRS;
Be responsible for selected balance sheet accounts and provide complete and informative balance sheet analysis;
Deliver independently the monthly forecast process for a respective area;
Provide pre-defined and ad hoc financial performance reports with accurate insights.;
Support the development and control of the annual operating budget within the assigned region, ensuring all financial targets are met and financial and statutory obligations are complied with;
Analyze financial information in response to requests from the wider finance team and the business;
Prepare detailed balance sheet reconciliations and support the monthly Operating Cash Flow process.
Qualifications
What you'll bring:
3+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Analysis, supported by a relevant Bachelor's degree.
Financial accounting knowledge, gained within a multinational corporate environment, including exposure to international accounting practices.
Experience working in an international or global organisation within a complex matrix structure, collaborating with cross‑functional teams across regions.
Interpret financial statements, analyse variances, and support budgeting and forecasting cycles.
Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data manipulation and validation).
Experience translating data into meaningful insights.
Fluency in English
Willingness to improve processes and ways of working.
