You'll join at a defining moment as we create a next‑generation platform from the ground up. This is a chance to design new capabilities-not maintain legacy systems. You'll partner with customers and cross‑functional teams to shape modern product experiences and enhance how we build technology. You will report to Head of Engineering.
What you bring:
7-10+ years of engineering experience in large‑scale systems
Strength in designing secure, distributed, scalable cloud solutions (AWS)
Expertise leading UI/UX development in React and TypeScript
Capability in the .NET ecosystem, API design and integrations
Experience driving engineering standards across coding, architecture, security, testing and observability
Translate product and design concepts into high‑quality code
Balanced focus on delivery speed and long‑term quality
Experience with RDBMS, event‑driven architectures and system integrations
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Commitment to security, privacy and compliance (PCI/ISO/SOC)
Familiarity with AI governance and safe GenAI use
Stay informed about relevant technology trends and developments and experience in agile environments
What you'll do:
As Technical Lead, you'll guide Tenderlink's technology, architecture and engineering culture. You'll stay hands‑on across the full stack (.NET, Web APIs, React, data services, AWS) while mentoring others and influencing main technical decisions. You'll also advocate for safe, GenAI use to enhance quality and delivery. You will report
Main responsibilities:
Shape platform architecture with a focus on scalability, reliability, security and cost efficiency
Guide end‑to‑end system design and technical decision‑making
Promote modern engineering patterns including clean architecture, DDD, event‑driven and cloud‑native design
Lead technical discussions, code reviews and engineering forums
Mentor team members and support capability uplift
Improve engineering excellence through secure coding, automation, CI/CD and observability
Balance product outcomes with long‑term technical health
Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, Cloud and Security teams
Represent engineering in cross‑functional planning and roadmap discussions
Foster a culture of continuous improvement
More about you:
You're an experienced engineer with strength in building secure, scalable and resilient systems. You have deep React experience-including best‑practice component design, state management and rendering patterns-and familiarity with the Mantine UI library. You bring hands‑on skills across .NET/.NET Core, Web API, C#, TypeScript and SQL data modelling.
You understand modern engineering and architectural practices, and you've worked with relational databases, event‑driven components, containerization (Docker, EKS, ECR) and IaC (Terraform/Bicep). You collaborate across teams, Experience troubleshooting issues with users with technical and non‑technical audiences, and simplify complexity. You advocate for engineering excellence and use GenAI tools responsibly to enhance the developer experience.
Qualifications
7-10+ years of engineering experience in large‑scale environments.
You bring hands‑on technical capability across .NET/.NET Core, Web API, C#, React, TypeScript and SQL‑based data modelling.
