Description
We are looking for an Engineering leader that can excel in a non-traditional environment, working with the latest of the Cloud ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of Software Development, we are looking for a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead the development and operations of our Core Bureau Products.
What you'll do:
You will lead engineering teams building product capabilities and solutions for our clients using Experian bureau data and other 3rd party data. Your team will work on important projects to accelerate the development, training, testing and deployment of solutions for clients.
Additional responsibilities include:
Manage the delivery lifecycle of major platform plans
Track important performance metrics (availability, latency, throughput) and ensure continuous improvement
Manage the delivery of insightful dashboards and data visualizations
Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years in engineering leadership roles
You should have experience managing real-time, high-throughput applications in production environments
Knowledge of distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS), and modern backend stacks (e.g., Scala, Java, C, or Python)
Experience with API gateways, load balancing, caching, and observability tools (Kibana, Grafana, Datadog, and Prometheus)
Familiarity with event-driven architecture, message queues (Kafka) and stream processing frameworks
Knowledge of GenAI, DevOps with Docker Knowledge: Docker and Kubernetes
You would be working from Hyderabad (2 days a week) as part of Hybrid work mode.
