Facebook is currently searching for a seasoned professional to be part of the team that is responsible for the Strategic Sourcing and Tactical Buy Desk in Asia Pacific. This person will report to the Head of APAC Source to Pay (S2P) and will be key in the development and transformation of the Global Sourcing and Tactical Buying Organization. The APAC Sourcing Manager will work closely with multiple business groups driving strategic sourcing strategies that support the business to ensure the best options for Facebook are obtained.
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company to strategically manage spend and the supply base for assigned categories.
- Understand the strategic business objectives and procurement requirements and develop sourcing strategies and category roadmaps to support the business objectives.
- Source, negotiate, contract and manage spend categories such as Marketing - Events, Professional Services, Facilities and HR.
- Act as sourcing & procurement subject matter expert in consulting with the business on procurement strategies, processes, policies, and best practices.
- Lead a team of Procurement buy desk professionals across the region, including development and coaching, goal-setting, and performance management.
- Manage the overall Buy Desk program and optimize operational processes, policies, and systems.
- Understand the current processes and tools environment and develop collaborative action plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Identify and manage KPIs to measure performance and present results to management on a regular basis.
- Prepare sourcing RFx, contracts, statements of work and related procurement documents.
Availability for business trips (~20% travel) primarily in the region and United States.
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance or management
- 8+ years of related experience in APAC region, covering on global sourcing, negotiations, contracting, compliance and/or Source-to-Pay experience
- 5+ years of experience in regional or global spend category management within Marketing, Professional Services and HR
- Strong understanding of various APAC currency, trade, contracting dynamics and restriction
- Ability to think and perform both strategically and tactically, ability to deliver under pressure and to operate in fast-paced environment
- Strong in stakeholder management, communications and interpersonal skills
Experience in planning, sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and supplier management
- Experience driving change, improving end-to-end processes and operational excellence
- Experience in establishing a new organization and establish new E2E processes/ metrics
- Project management experience
