Facebook is looking for an experienced and accomplished marketing executive to lead our International Marketing organization, which focuses on building awareness and understanding of Facebook's positive contribution through product and program awareness, in select markets around the world. This role will be responsible for leading the strategic and programmatic development and execution of marketing initiatives that support and build Facebook's reputation amongst key audiences (consumers, developers, entrepreneurs, partners, policy makers) across a variety of disciplines and channels.
As a key member of the Facebook Marketing leadership team, this individual will also help guide and shape the focus and priorities of the Global Consumer Marketing organization. The ideal individual for this role has an established background and demonstrated success in launching integrated global and regional marketing initiatives targeting both mass consumers and vertical audiences. You will have full funnel experience from awareness through to action, and will also be scrappy in knowing how to use Facebook's owned media to drive results in areas where we don't have large offsite media budgets. You will have experience developing creatively-driven marketing initiatives, and have a love of problem-solving, collaborating, and driving data-driven results through insights and analytics. You'll also demonstrate an innate ability to get things done.
- Provide leadership and coordination across a variety of brand and reputation initiatives targeting different audiences, across multiple markets
- Develop, manage and support the execution of integrated marketing communications efforts that encompass a 360 approach across various channels (digital, social, traditional media, events) to support key narratives and impact stories
- Grow and inspire a regional marketing organization located around the globe
- Build strong collaborative relationships and alliances with key internal and external teams and partners to prioritize and establish the team's roadmap, delivering against clearly defined brand objectives while ensuring positive and productive team environments
- Ensure all efforts are based on solid hypothesis design and are structured to deliver against clear success metrics, utilizing a test-and-learn approach
- Provide insight and recommendations to the larger Marketing organization as part of the Facebook Marketing leadership team, ensuring the Regional Marketing team's goals and priorities align with the broader organization
Drive fiscal and staffing planning for the organization, in addition to other administrative needs
- 5 or more years of experience with team leadership, cross-functional team leadership, or leadership
- 15+ years of consumer and vertical audience marketing experience
- Experience building mass-market consumer technology and/or hardware brands
- Experience partnering with external companies (partners, agencies, vendors, retailers), as well as executive and cross-functional leadership
- Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns (online/offline advertising, web, events) that drove results at both local and global scales
- Experience designing and delivering marketing solutions leveraging insights and analytics
- Global management experience
Bachelor's Degree
- Experience working and thriving in a self-starter, fast-paced and changing environment
