Facebook is searching for an experienced Enterprise Supplier Risk and Performance Manager to facilitate Enterprise Supplier Management initiatives at Facebook. This individual will work collaboratively with key stakeholders in Internal Audit, Legal, Finance, Enterprise Products, numerous business unit supplier management teams, and Sourcing Operations to develop and implement a supplier risk and performance management program at the enterprise level. This includes helping to drive the strategy, roadmap, processes, tools, reporting, policies and metrics throughout the lifecycle of the supplier relationship. They will assist the Head of Enterprise supplier Management to deliver progressive thought leadership, robust policies/processes, technology/tools, training, governance, and excellent customer service. This role requires someone who thrives in a flat, fast-moving organization using lightweight processes, creative ideas and quick iteration to make a significant impact. This individual will have an opportunity to influence account management strategies, build and maintain performance management tool kits, and develop/implement risk mitigation plans for Facebook's key supplier relationships.
- Take ownership of multiple, multi-layer cross-functional relationships. Proactively, strategically, and thoughtfully engage stakeholders to drive adoption of Enterprise Supplier Management policy, processes, and tools.
- Develop a deep understanding of operational constraints/barriers to gaining adoption. Demonstrate expert level operational understanding of assigned process area(s) and be sought out as an expert. Constantly problem-solve, innovate, improve, and optimize supplier risk and performance management.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that may not have a clear solution using discretion and expertise. Proactively identify the root cause of important problems within scope. Develop practical, well-justified, and resource-optimized solutions to enhance tooling/infrastructure, processes, and workflows to streamline supplier risk and performance.
- Demonstrate and deploy advanced knowledge of data tools and analytical techniques. Develop, organize and maintain a library of risk and performance review templates, including criteria, metrics, survey tools, and other capabilities required to effectively aggregate the results of risk and performance management. Proactively enable the systematic tracking of relevant metrics (including collaborating with SQL/Business Intelligence experts to pull relevant data).
- Actively identify and develop opportunities for broader FB-wide cross-functional engagement and own continuous improvement in systems, processes, and/or controls.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to develop action plans to close identified risk and/or performance gaps.
- Work collaboratively with contract experts in Legal to identify and implement process improvements.
- Lead large-scale cross-functional meetings, interact with leadership, and effectively disseminate communication and training.
Lead and support the development and implementation of enterprise governance model(s) for top tier suppliers in partnership with Infrastructure, Global Sourcing, Outsourcing, Procure-to-Pay, Privacy, Internal Audit and Legal, among others.
- B.A. or B.S. degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in Strategic Supplier Relationship Management, Supplier Performance Management or Third-Party Risk Management
- Experience balancing multiple initiatives at once
- Process/project management experience
- Experience in evaluating, developing and implementing supplier performance management solutions
- Procurement systems/processes/tools experience
Experience driving change and improving end-to-end processes
- MBA
- Experience in project/asset management, procurement and supplier relations in a technology environment
Experience flourishing and influencing others in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity
