Join Facebook's human resources organization, [email protected], to lead the project management office and core portfolio management processes. This team partners with leaders across [email protected] and Facebook to tackle challenging, high velocity work. Team members in the PMO act as project leaders and change managers. They use project and program management skills, HR domain fluency, and relationships to advise leaders, guide projects, and ensure readiness for change. The HR Portfolio and PMO Lead is responsible for overall governance of PMO processes and resource allocation. This work includes establishing, implementing, developing, and managing best practices for project management within [email protected] and building a community of practice to support connection and development of project and program managers from across the function. This role will also define all methods, policies, and processes of project lifecycles to ensure efficacious delivery. Additionally, the role will be responsible for developing and executing portfolio management activities in coordination with leaders within [email protected]
- Ensure the scope, goals, and deliverables of [email protected] (HR) projects support business goals in collaboration with leaders
- Effectively communicate and manage expectations of PMO to project managers, owners, sponsors, team members, and other stakeholders in a clear and concise fashion
- Develop and manage portfolio management methods and capabilities including a consolidated view for all HR projects including milestones/deliverables
- Determine frequency and content of status reports from project managers, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas/mitigate project risks
- Define project classification methods and resourcing models to effectively manage PMO resource allocation
- Develop best practices, techniques, and tools for project and change management
- build a community of practice for project and change management
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise new project team leads, team members, and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within and between various project teams
- Run cross-functional projects and programs effectively and efficiently by escalating risks, tracking decisions, empowering decision makers, identifying interdependencies, building project plans and managing stakeholders
- Lead or support change management activities associated with complex HR programs
Communicate effectively and influence a broad set of stakeholders from [email protected] and across Facebook's business
- 10+ years of experience in human resources, project/program management, and/or organization transformation
- Executive presence and influencing skills demonstrated by an experience building robust and lasting relationships with senior human resources and business leaders
- Agile leader and collaborator in highly dynamic environments and high-growth businesses
- Demonstrated leadership, management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in developing and deploying project and change best practices, policies, procedures, and processes
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and experience working effectively with all organizational levels
- Experience prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Experience working with cross-functional global teams
- Experience designing and leading complex human resources initiatives
Experience with change management design and execution
- MBA or related degree
- Experience in complex project/program management and leading transformational initiatives
- Experience managing and reporting on complex project/program portfolios
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Program Management Professional (PgMP), or related certification preferred
- Prosci, or related certification preferred
- Experience in high-growth companies
Experience with agile project management methods and delivery
