Facebook is seeking a leader in Information Security Audit to join the Internal Audit team to perform risk assessments, audits, and readiness exercises around Facebook's technology environment supporting Information Security objectives. We are looking for a highly qualified Security professional with demonstrated technical skills, proven communication skills, and a history of building relationships and consensus.
- Function as a Technical Security subject matter resource and develop understanding of Facebook applications and infrastructure.
- Interact extensively with engineering teams and be comfortable executing technical security projects in areas including but not limited to production engineering security, cloud security, data security, vulnerability management, end point security, and network security.
- Ability to clearly articulate the value we bring as an Internal Audit team and explain complicated technical jargon to a non-technical audience.
- Deal with ambiguity in a mature manner and break down complex scenarios into manageable chunks.
- Build cross functional relationships with engineering teams and business partners to thoroughly understand their business and technology processes and identify appropriate and pragmatic approaches to information security obligations.
- Serve as a key Internal Audit point of contact on Security topics for Engineering teams.
- Effectively manage resources within the internal audit co-sourcing partner(s) as required to ensure that we execute as one team.
- Independently operate in a fast paced and diverse environment while managing multiple projects.
- Thrives and gains energy from navigating an ambiguous and changing environment.
Artfully distills complexity synthesizes, simplifies, then story-tells to the audience.
- 6+ years of experience with the Big Four, an information security role or internal audit with a focus on Information Security.
- BA/BS in business, computer science, management information systems, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience of project management practices, tooling, and managing audit projects through their lifecycle.
Communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills that allow highly effective interactions with business partners.
- CISSP or CISA certification (bonus points for additional technical security focused certifications)
- Technical understanding of Facebook products and infrastructure
- Experience interacting with Engineering teams and building relationships gains trust through action, develops business understanding, spots opportunities, and delivers value to the engineering and product teams
Experience executing in a dynamic, demanding environment with proven organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
