Facebook is looking for an experienced people manager to join the Integrity and Risk Launches (IRL) team. This leader will manage the launches operations and ops excellence team. This team plays a horizontal support role across product launches in support of Community Standards and workflow launches in support of product machine learning projects.
As a leader of this team you will be responsible for growing an operations function that can scale to support numerous launches function and that capitalizes on their launches-specific expertise. You will be responsible for ensuring the team can swiftly and successful deliver best-in-class tooling, protocol and staffing solutions. You will be accountable for growing an operations excellence function owning demand planning, metrics, quality and technical roadmaps in support of elevating the operational excellence of the integrity & risk launches org.
**Successful candidates are demonstrated leaders with experience managing teams with a large, mission critical scope across product and operational landscapes. You love to coach and develop high performing individuals. You are an energetic, passionate leader with a keen eye for developing strategic processes and ensuring efficiency by design. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can identify new opportunities to ensure best-in-class risk mitigation that keeps up with rapidly changing business objectives. You enjoy being challenged by balancing day-to-day projects, while also identifying innovative ways to solve large-scale problems upstream.
- Provide strong and visionary leadership to your team of Project Managers, enhance and develop a strong team culture of trust and commitment to impact.
- Define vision, set and communicate team and individual goals, and communicate strategy, tactics and behaviors required to achieve those goals.
- Act as a thought leader for optimizing operational design, driving process efficiencies, and launches demand forecasting.
- Be prepared to directly manage large projects and coordinate across all stakeholders as needed to ensure the right execution, communication and resources are in place to deliver the key milestones.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of how Facebook operationalizes enforcement and labeling at scale.
Ensure a constant focus on automation and process efficiency to seamlessly balance risk mitigation and operational efficiency.
- 4+ years of people management experience
- 10+ years of experience working in tech, consulting, or an operational capacity
- 2+ years of experience with product or consumer operations
Problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical experience
- Experience working in a technology company or consulting firm
- Experience driving cross-functional change in a large organization
MBA from a top-tier business school
