The mission of Global Marketing Solutions Business Engineering and Partner Solutions group is to leverage world-class engineering and partner solutions to help businesses grow today and build for tomorrow.The Partner Manager, reporting to the Head of Partner Management Commerce in North America will provide ongoing consultative business support to key commerce partners to help grow their businesses while assuring end client success. This role also leads and drives special projects that influence the overall adoption of various FMP technologies and services. We are looking for a strong leader who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, managing teams and problem-solving. Ideal candidates will have business development and partnership experience.
- Act as the main point-of-contact, support and be the representative for Facebook Marketing Partners and help them drive strategic growth
- Lead strategic and technical product development efforts from concept to go-to-market
- Drive product adoption and provide ongoing education about new and existing Facebook products and encourage innovation
- Work closely with our product team on the product vision and roadmap. Prioritize and structure partnerships based on product roadmap
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Facebook partner engineers, product marketers, product managers and others to achieve quarterly and yearly goals for partner set
- Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing opportunities for new approaches
- Coordinate with other teams by prioritizing their involvement, needs and activation
- Be the thought leader at Facebook by funneling Facebook Marketing Partners' platform insights and product feedback, influencing roadmaps where necessary
- Be the advocate for Partners with cross-functional colleagues to both assist in development of growth strategies for priority global sales accounts, and develop or join existing SMB Programs to drive scaled growth
- Work with Business Ops to set goals, actively measure impact of initiatives and ensure alignment with broader business teams
Local and regional travel required
- 8+ years of client facing experience in partner management, account management, or technical sales
- Experience developing working relationships and influence at all levels of management, internally and externally
- A mix of sales, business development, consulting and product management experience
- Quantitative/analytical experience
Project management experience, including multitasking to lead and execute multiple projects in parallel
- Experience working in marketing and/or advertising technology
- Excellent communication skills
- Product marketing/go-to-market experience
- Comfortable leading complex product integrations across multiple teams, internally and externally
- Knowledge of Facebook products, innovation, technology, and online marketing
Commerce industry knowledge and experience preferred
