Reporting to the Education Modernization Team Lead, the Growth Manager will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, evaluation, and marketing to design and execute growth initiatives. The successful candidate will have a passion for tackling complexity head-on and have experience effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results. They will be data-driven and have a growth-focused function bringing cross-functional teams together to develop and optimize user engagement strategy to drive program growth and impact.
- Work cross-functionally with evaluation, design, infrastructure and marketing to execute initiatives
- Lead metrics-driven analysis and support decision-making throughout the organization
- Partner with managers to set goals, develop activation strategies, track and analyze program performance, and drive adoption of our programs
- Monitor, analyze, and report on program/product KPIs to ensure growth initiatives are driving impact
- Drive and improve existing project management approaches and measure progress and ensure delivery against goals within cross-functional verticals
- Develop and launch go-to-market plans for lead acquisition and engagement to drive growth long term in partnership with cross-functional leads
- Work closely with creative teams to increase product impact
- Manage our co-design initiatives across the team
- Work with Evaluation to report results in order to educate managers and cross-functional teams on program performance
- Provide user insight, by analyzing data with a deep understanding of our audience's needs, habits, and perceptions developed through targeted interviews, usability studies, and feedback
- Effectively communicate with managers and surface feedback to product teams
- Set up internal approaches for career growth for individual teammates by exploring avenues they can take to expand on career
Manage cross-functional team processes and efficiency, recommending targeted growth areas in expertise, partnerships, and general resourcing to support the greater team
- 8+ years of direct, growth-focused experience in education, non-profit sector, and/or technology
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, specifically with Product, Evaluation, Engineering, Design and Marketing
- Project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects within a project management system to result in measurable successes and program growth
- Demonstrated experience developing and analyzing product acquisition efficiency and effectiveness
- Proven experimentation experience with a proven track record of executing A/B tests, empathy interviews, user tests, optimized campaigns and translating data into insights
- Demonstrated experience coaching and growing cross-functional team members, resulting in positive growth for individuals and team as a whole
- Experience inspiring action through data-driven insights and execute with operational rigor and efficiency
- Experience influencing behavior at variety of levels in an organization, including cross-functional leaders
- Demonstrated experience driving resolution in the context of competing perspectives
- Strategic and analytical thinker - proficiency with analytical tools is a must (i.e.: Excel, SQL, R, Mode, Looker, etc.)
- Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, Amplitude, Tableau and (secondarily) Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud Analytics
