Digital Rights Operations is the team that is responsible for managing reports surrounding Facebook's policies and procedures, complex legal issues and the changing landscape of free speech on the Internet. We are passionate about building trust. We are constantly balancing mitigating legal risk with making the world more open and connected while scaling our operations to support Facebook's users. Our Product Solutions & Integrity team is responsible for building a support strategy for new products or features and developing enforcement policies for bad actors to minimize legal risk on our platforms. We partner with multiple cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Integrity, Legal, Operations, Policy, Privacy, and Data to ensure new products successfully launch and we can effectively detect and enforce against abuse. Product Solutions & Integrity helps determine data and tooling infrastructure needs to support and protect the product and its customers.Successful candidates for this role will be incredibly passionate about minimizing abuse in products, improving experiences for rights holders and users, as well as tools that Digital Rights Operations uses to support rights holders, users, and internal stakeholders. Must have an ability to work across different time zones and capable of using analytical rigor and strong project management skills to identify and prioritize product and pain points, and the ability to lead and mentor others in developing these skills, leveraging these talents to help us achieve operational excellence.
- Lead a team of project managers that develop support strategies for products and features to minimize legal risk
- Drive team strategy, goal setting, and performance of team members
- Provide management guidance on organizational effectiveness, change management, and conflict resolution
- Establish team goals and prioritized roadmaps, and implement strategies for executing, measuring progress, and communicating results against these goals
- Provide performance management, coaching, and career guidance for direct reports, especially in developing project management, leadership, and relationship management skills
- Be a company-level expert and advocate for Digital Rights Operations, working closely with Intellectual Property Operations, Legal TDR Operations, Contractual Operations, and Privacy Operations and coordinating across partner organizations including Online Operations, Media Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, Sales, and Partnerships
- Become an expert in core IP and support infrastructure, tools, systems, and data
- Collaborate with Digital Rights Operations core and support teams, and market teams, to determine and prioritize product and tool requirements which allow new products to scale
- Manage complex projects and coordinate new product support across numerous operations stakeholders
- Influence key cross-functional partners, including Product, Engineering, Design, Policy, Legal, Privacy, and others during design, build, launch, and expansion phase of product life cycle
Identify, monitor, and analyze product and operational health metrics
- 4+ years of experience with end-to-end project management, product, and/or operations
- 1+ years experience managing people
- Strategic communication and program management experience in collaboration across cross-functional teams
Analytical and problem-solving experience and experience in building scalable solutions
- Legal, Intellectual Property, or Integrity experience
- Demonstrated track record of disciplined execution, acting independently across competing priorities and exercising judgment
Exposure to machine-learning and data modeling
