    Job Description

    As a valued colleague on our team, you will act as a team lead in the designing, producing, testing, or implementing software, technology, or processes, as well as lead processes for creating and maintaining IT architecture, large scale data stores, and cloud-based systems.

    The SF Technology - Software Engineering - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

    Fannie Mae seeks Software Engineering - Lead Associate - Reston, VA

    Develop, modify, or update Salesforce applications used by business units or infrastructure units using Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, SQL, SOAP and RESTful Web Services.
    Lead or play lead technical role in development teams' efforts to determine unit needs and business processes that are automated by the application. Participate with team of technical staff and business managers or practitioners in the business unit to determine systems requirements and functionalities needed in large/complex development project.
    Participate in or review all of the steps in the software development life cycle to create and modify the software.
    Review coding done to advance application upgrade, extension, or other development.
    Develop test protocols or plan for testing revised application and review test results.

    Hybrid work possible in this position.

    Qualifications

    Req'd:
    Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering plus five years of progressive experience in Salesforce application development. Experience must include Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, SQL, SOAP, and RESTful Web Services. Excellent communication (oral and written) skills are also required.
