Role Description The Joint Trench manager will be building out the entire Joint Trench program at GFiber from induction to the end. You will work on cross-product and cross-team initiatives, working closely with cross-functional team members to refine and enhance our projects, and deploy new technologies to markets and communities around the globe. You like being on-the-ground, executing complex projects that bring internet access to people. The Outside Plant (OSP) Joint Trench Manager will oversee the entire wing of Joint Trench Construction. The OSP Joint Trench manager will partner with the OSP Construction Lead to ensure joint trench operations are reliable and efficient. You will work to improve customer experience through vendor and production management and will lead testing, acceptance, last mile, and installation operations to bring GFiber to customers as quickly as possible. Responsibilities Develop end to end Joint Trench Program for GFiber Ensure processes are in place, documented and followed as they relate to all aspects of the Joint Trench program Develop and maintain all pertinent contacts, processes, and documents related to Municipal,Utility Relations, and internal/external stakeholders. Assure that production always outpaces deadlines, adjusting staffing and schedules in the field as needed to fit priorities Provide Subject Matter Expert input and support on the Joint Trench Program At a minimum we’d like you to have: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 7 years of experience in network operations, network engineering, or network construction Experience building and maintaining telecommunication infrastructure, FTTH/X, network operations, and/or outside plant (OSP) projects Experience with CAD, GIS systems and FTTH records/As-builts It’s preferred if you have: Master's degree or equivalent work experience 10 years of experience in network operations, network engineering, or network construction. Experience managing projects involving team members from multiple disciplines. Experience working with vendors and management The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $136,000-$150,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
