The successful candidate will use their skills to architect, design, build, and integrate solutions spanning moderately complex technical and business capability domains with cost and strategic implications. Solutions may consist of proven or unproven technologies or multiple implementation technologies at once within domains that experience rapid change.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables as Expert Network Architect will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Planning, designing, and engineering of networks and security, including services and hardware, across Finastra datacenters, Azure, AWS and GCP and across the areas of IDS/IPS, VPN, firewall rules analysis, Network Access Control, Next Gen Firewalls, Proxy, Monitoring, IPAM, security policy management, client connectivity, and SDWAN
Working closely with other Architects, Developers, Product and Program Managers; and may provide support to more senior staff to ensure the designs align with the technological and business directions of the enterprise
Formation, ownership and maintenance of the Network Strategy and Architecture that aligns with Finastra standards for security, availability, management, governance, deployment, configuration management, monitoring, identity and access management, service management and cost management across Finastra datacenters, Azure, AWS and GCP
IT deployments may involve Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
Ensuring the solutions developed comply with relevant regulations, internal architectural standards, and internal security and data assessments
Maintaining the deployment architectures and designs for the Finastra solutions deployed as cloud managed services, including creating and delivering against the architecture roadmap for the solutions
Supporting cost modelling for solution architectures developed and maintaining cost models in-line with changes to the deployment architectures across Finastra datacenters, Azure AWS and GCP
Validating proposals are aligned with the defined solution architecture including the service level agreements, sizing criteria and cost modelling
Supporting Sales and Marketing with collateral that explains, evangelizes and supports the solution architecture definition, including maintaining the RFP responses
Reporting and support for defining and refining Project Managers' delivery plans
