    The Position:

    Forcepoint is seeking a full-time senior professional services engineer to facilitate the installation, configuration, integration, management, and training of Forcepoint’s comprehensive suite of cyber products. This individual must be highly motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be a quick learner. The successful candidate will be offered specialized training to support our technologies and is expected to become proficient in all aspects of our software solution deployment.

    What You'll be Doing:

    • Provide engineering, installation, configuration, and integration of Forcepoint commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) cyber products. 
    • Utilize your Windows, Linux, and networking expertise to support and field critical customer-driven requirements.
    • Utilize interpersonal skills to engage directly with the customer to provide advanced design, analysis, and implementation of our software.
    • Demonstrate competency working hands-on in Windows and Linux-based environments, troubleshooting on-site technical issues, and using and configuring the Forcepoint cyber-suite solutions to deliver critical customer driver requirements.
    • Prepare technical documentation to include as-built design, requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures. 
    • Leverage standard networking concepts to support the design and implementation of Forcepoint solutions to include failover, co-op, and load balancing as well a,s interoperability with other components within the enterprise.
    • Communicate complex technical issues with the customer environment to Forcepoint tier support to remediate customer concerns.
    • Provide technical briefings to customers and Forcepoint corporate leadership as required.
    • Provide training, troubleshooting, and on-site/remote support to customers.
    • Other duties as required.

    Things You Must Have to Apply:

    • Active (currently in use) TS/SCI clearance
    • 9+ years of experience in a cyber engineer role supporting enterprise software solutions.
    • Strong experience in Linux and scripting.
    • Strong understanding of relational databases.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to relay technical information to customers and laypersons.
    • Intermediate Linux/Unix administration knowledge.
    • Intermediate to Senior Windows administration knowledge.
    • Intermediate to Senior understanding of security design and architecture, Active Directory/LDAP, and computer virtualization technologies.
    • Interest or experience in cyber security to include practices/methodologies, associated technologies, application design, and development/or experience in an operational environment.
    • Must coordinate collaboratively with customers and across multiple internal departments.
    • Must work and collaborate remotely with management and team members.
    • Working knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, firewalls, routers, etc.)
    • BS in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Information Security, or equivalent
    • DODI 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level I; SANS GSEC, CISSP preferred.

    Things that would be Nice to Have:

    • Experience with security COTS product integration preferred.
    • Strong verbal and technical writing skills
    • Shell scripting
    • Experience with security COTS product integration (e.g., firewall, web gateways, Data Loss Prevention)
    • Public Key Infrastructure and Identity Management
    • Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies.
    • Experience with risk management frameworks.
    • Experience with vulnerability management frameworks and POA&M.
