    Title: Senior Sales Specialist

    Location: Washington DC Area

    Job Summary  

    Forcepoint is seeking an experienced, high-energy Account Executive with a proven track record of selling Network Security and cloud native SASE solutions to Civilian agencies.  

    Essential Functions

    • Position requires a senior sales professional with a proven ability to identify leads, qualify, develop and close business.  
    • The ideal candidate has sales experience in and around Civilian Agency environments with a technical background in security software.
    • Demonstrate the ability to clearly articulate a territory strategy and  action on the activities required to meet and exceed goals.
    • Work with customers and channel partners on a daily basis to generate pipeline, sales revenue, and provide account management support.  
    • Demonstrate the ability to analyze the needs of customers and determine how to position Forcepoint's products and professional services to competitively meet those needs.
    • Provide professional leadership and coordination to the sales support team on revenue opportunities.
    • Possess a thorough understanding of the "sales steps to closure" and the internal/external financial planning and Civilian acquisition processes.  
    • Maintain an awareness of competitive offerings and strategies across the space.  
    • Meet sales objectives established by Forcepoint's management.
    • Act as liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of products and services.
    • Coordinate meetings and product demonstrations between company personnel, vendors and customers.  
    • Build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities such that the sales pipeline reflects the capability to meet and exceed sales goals on a quarterly basis.
    • The role requires up to 40% travel.

    Qualification/Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5+ years' experience attaining or exceeding set quotas in the network security arena.
    • Experience selling networking and security software or security solutions into and across the Civilian segment.
    • Familiarity selling cloud based offerings such as SASE or SaaS, specifically SWG, CASB, NGFW, RBI
    • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation ( FAR)  
    • Strong professional network with operational GS 13-15 , C level and SES decision makers
    • Proven negotiating skills
    • Candidates must have superior communication and interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to quality service
