    Location: US Remote

    Position: CONTRACTOR 9-12 months

    The successful candidate is mission driven, a self-starter, able and willing to work with a geo-dispersed team.

    Essential Functions

    • Work with cross-functional teams to identify, resolve, and mitigate security issues in Forcepoint’s on-premises, cloud environments and processes.

    • Architects, designs, implements, maintains, and operates information security controls and countermeasures.

    • Analyzes and recommends security controls and procedures in acquisition, development, and change management lifecycle of information systems, and monitors for compliance.

    • Administer and support Identity and Access Management solutions

    • Designs, implements, and maintains the SIEM

    • Network security program oversight (patching, security practices of networking)

    • Assist with implementing and administrating security controls for cloud environments

    • Assist IT teams in identifying security requirements in migrating on-prem applications to cloud environments

    • Develop security architecture and/or security view diagrams depicting expected and actual cloud implementations

    • Administer and support FP security products

    • Create, update, and maintain documentation for all configurations for the production environment

    • Provide tuning and reporting recommendations of security tools

    • Research, evaluate, implement, and administer new security technologies

    • Participate in rotational on-call duties in support of a 24x7 global production environment

    • Respond to and resolve security incidents as required

    • Develop and maintain strong and mutually supportive relationships with internal partners, to ensure joint objectives are achieved.

    • Play a key role in helping Forcepoint through transformation and program maturity initiatives.

    • Experience with domain registars and certificate management

    • Architecture and support of Security Diode’s a plus

    • Knowledge of domains, web content gateway, email security gateways

    • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

    • This role does not have direct reports

    Education and Experience

    • Be willing to bring your best to work every day, challenge the status quo, and move the Forcepoint culture forward

    • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience

    • Applicant must be US based

    • At least six (6) years of experience in Information Technology or Information Security

    • At least three (3) years of experience with security in one or more public clouds

    • Experience with Okta, RSA, InTune and JAMF

    • Strong familiarity with Linux, Mac OS, and Windows and cloud provider ecosystems like Amazon AWS/Microsoft Azure/Google Cloud, etc.

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Proficient troubleshooting skills in the areas of security and networking

    • Proactive individual (seeks out problems and addresses before they occur)

    • Must be a self-starter able to work under little to no supervision and handle ambiguity in direction

    • 2 or more accredited security certifications such as: (AWS Certified Security, CISSP, CCSP, CSA, etc.)

    Nice to Have:

    Experience with Solarwinds, Cloudhealth, ManageEngine, Crowdstrike AV/EDR, DLP services, Zero Trust networks
