Job Description

The role will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of all SEC Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting.

What Would You Do? The Specifics.

• Actively supports SEC reporting including the preparation of Quarterly and Annual SEC (10-Q & 10-K) filings.
• Assists with annual external audit including preparing assigned schedules for the annual and quarterly interim auditor reviews.
• Maintains and develops reports supporting certain amounts disclosed external in MD&A and Financial Statement Footnotes.
• Participates in the preparation, review, and analysis of consolidated financial statements.
• Preparation of equity accounting entries.
• Assists in maintenance of accounting policies
• Assists with other regulatory reporting requirements as needed.
• Assists in the preparation and review of quarterly earnings release tables, press releases and scripts to ensure that information reported is accurate and in accordance with GAAP.
• Assists in the adoption of new accounting pronouncements by the FASB and SEC to determine the impact on the Company.
• Performs and applies technical accounting research for arising issues.
• Executes assigned financial reporting controls as designed ensuring operating effectiveness for SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• CPA license required
• Big four accounting and SOX experience preferred
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Strong verbal/written communication abilities; effective interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail
• Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research and data analysis
• Excellent organization, planning, judgment, and time management skills

Colorado Pay Range: $118,000-145,000+ comprising an annual salary & incentive compensation: You may also be eligible for equity and additional generous company benefits.
