Job Description
Freshworks is hiring a Vice President of Human Resources who will drive the development of our North American people strategy, ensuring alignment with the business's organizational and people needs. In addition to being the North American regional head of HR, this mandate includes being the global head of HR for our G&A functions. This role will report to the Chief HR Officer of Freshworks and will be our senior most HR Business Partner located in North America, and will interact directly with many of our executive team members.
Key Responsibilities
People Strategy & Leadership: Define and drive the people agenda for the Freshworks North America region, and be the global HR business partner for Corporate G&A Functions. .
Collaborate and build trusted relationships with leadership to understand their priorities and provide support in delivering business goals
Partner closely with HR Center of Excellence teams to generate new ideas, support program development and implementation, and promote HR initiatives to the organization.
Talent & Capability: Partner with leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment. Ensure we have the right talent and capabilities to meet the business needs.
Leadership and Bench: Identify key leadership needs and look at ways to develop/hire strong leaders, ensuring bench strength for critical roles. Develop and strengthen the middle management team by equipping them with the right skills to succeed.
People Development: Partner with our Talent Management team to design and develop programs and practices that help grow talent. Define career management practices that will enable employees to develop their careers @freshworks.
Performance Management: Partner with Talent Management to bring to life the Talent Review cycle and a full suite of supporting processes (e.g. Performance Planning, Coaching & Development, Calibration and Reviews).
Qualifications
At least 15 years of experience in a Senior HR role
Prior experience working in and managing global teams
Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment is preferred – leading high growth or large-scale change management
Strong personal credibility with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior business leaders.
Ability to engage specialists in core HR disciplines
Excellent consulting skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders to drive results within a matrixed and global organization
Highly collaborative, with the ability to partner with multiple stakeholders
Bachelor's Degree required. MBA preferred.
