ST HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting, or related field
Advanced English
Minimum 3 years experience in Tax Department
WE VALUE:
CPA & advance degree with an emphasis in taxation
Good knowledge of Brazilian tax law and regulations.
Financial Accounting knowledge.
Understanding tax implications of multi-national company
Demonstrated ability to deliver complex solutions without supervision.
Strong analytical & problems solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare accurate tax reports
Understand tax reporting positions
Contribute to SOX Process
Analyze tax aspects of forecast
Work w/ internal And external providers on tax issues
Support reporting obligations
Assist w/ tax planning strategy
Support M&A, restructuring
Respond to Government requests

ABOUT THE TEAM
The Garrett Finance organization drives financial processes to support the business and function organizations and maximize investment synergies while maintaining an internal control environment to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies. It is also responsible for the company's Risk Management process to ensure that adequate risks mitigation efforts for the business are in place, and guarantee the integrity of all external and internal financial reporting.
