At GDIT, people are our differentiator. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Performs system administration, application development, database management, and additional support services. 
• Has basic understanding of change and configuration management in the context of a software development team. 
• Know development application terminology, architecture, clients, and interfaces.  Ability to navigate the Windows Desktop Client, the Web Client and interface. 
• Use the Windows Explorer interface. 
• Perform version management, parallel development, and create and manage projects and streams. 
• Perform change management tasks. 
• Create and manage requests. 
• Track changesets and manage baselines.  
• Execute reviews, automated analysis, and builds. 
• Has knowledge of Configuration Management process modeling and product implementation.  Configures Lifecycles, Requests, Items, Request and Item Relationships, Baselines, Design Parts, Users and Role Assignments, Privileges and User Interface Profiles, and Attributes. 
• Enforces Change Management through Rules and Request Priming. 
• Sets Data Formats and Upload Rules. 
• Configures tool for automated reviews, code analysis and builds. 
• Has knowledge of commonly used development application tools.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• 5+ years of professional experience
• 2+ years of experience in the field

The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days.  We can only accept Green Card Holders or US Citizens for this program.
