Job Description:

Join General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges.

The GDIT team is seeking a Visual Database Developer to develop 3D content for real-time maritime simulation.   As the developer you will test and edit asset data needed to run in simulator environment. 

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the following software and skills:

• Adobe Photoshop for texturing

• Creator 3d

• Able to use an XML editor

•  Window Office for daily operations

• JIRA for project tasking.

• Google Earth

• Python or other scripting languages

• GIS knowledge and application into 3d visual databases

• Experience with simulation database generation

• Familiarity with maritime navigation on waterways desired

• Ability to read maritime charts, OSM Maps, GIS Data desired

• Ability to adapt to current production process and flexibility to evolve when our process evolves

• Troubleshooting skills and the ability to find practical solutions based on knowledge and previous experience

Basic Qualifications:

• BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

• 2+ years of visual software and database experience

• US citizenship; must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
